The Heart's Frontier The Heart's Frontier

by Lori Copeland and Virginia Smith

Oh my goodness. It has been waaaayyy too long since I updated my website. So sorry to all of you who follow this website to enter drawings for free books. I hope this drawing will make up for my lack of attentiveness in recent months.

I am so very excited about the release of my newest book. The Heart's Frontier is my second book with bestselling author Lori Copeland, but it's a first for me on several fronts. It's my first historical novel. It's my first Amish story. And it's the first book I've written with a cow on the cover! Ha ha!

From the back cover:

A lot can happen on a week-long cattle drive. Kansas 1881 - Halfway through a six-day jouirney to visit relatives, Emma Switzer's Amish family is robbed of all their possessions, leaving them destitute and stranded on the prairie. Walking to the nearest trading settlement, they pray to the Lord for someone to help. When a dusty cowboy lands in the street at her feet, Emma looks down at him and thinks, "The Lord might have cleaned him up first." ... Plain and rugged -- do the two mix? And what happens when a dedicated Amish woman and a stubborn trail boss prove to be each other's match?

Sound like a story you'd like to read? Well, this might be your chance to read it for free! On Monday, February 20th, I'll conduct a drawing to give away three autographed copies of The Heart's Frontier. To enter the drawing, just read the contest rules below and then, if you're okay with them, complete this entry form. Please include your mailing address in case you win. I'll conduct a random drawing on that day, and if I draw your name I'll let you know.
