Short Bio:
Virginia Smith left her job as a corporate director to become a full time writer and speaker with the release of her first book, Just As I Am. Since then she has published over a dozen inspirational novels, as well as numerous articles and short stories.
A lifelong lover of books, she writes in two genres - romantic suspense and contemporary. A Taste of Murder, book 1 in the Classical Trio Series, was a finalist for the 2009 Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence, and Stuck in the Middle, book 1 in the Sister-to-Sister Series, was a 2009 finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers Book of the Year award in the Long Contemporary category. In March of 2008 she was named "Writer of the Year" at Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference. An energetic speaker, Virginia loves to exemplify God's truth by comparing real-life situations to well-known works of fiction, such as her popular talk, "Biblical Truths in Star Trek."
Her next release, Third Time's a Charm, the third and final book in the Sister-to-Sister Series, will be available in January 2010.
